Yes, I offer online music lessons for students who prefer to learn from the comfort of their own home, however I do not recommend on-line lessons for beginners. Hybrid lessons are also an option. 

Students can start as young as 3 years old, but at that age and for all younger students, in order for a child to be successful parents have to be invested in the lessons. It is never too late to start. I have worked with adults who have gotten great joy out of playing an instrument later in life.

In my many years of experience, I have found that my most successful students are students who implement a daily practice routine and take weekly private lessons with a highly trained master teacher. 

YES!! Participation in their school orchestra is vital in a students musical development. One of the joys of playing a stringed instrument is making music with other people, especially friends. For many students who study privately, membership in a school orchestra helps develop leadership skills. 

A youth orchestra is perfect for the student who wants more than what is available at their school. Youth Orchestras provide students with different musical experiences than what their school can offer.
